Sports Therapist

I’ve always been a very active person, having spent a large amount of my childhood running around and playing on the beaches or countryside in Cornwall.
After finishing school, college, and traveling around some very nice/not so nice parts of the world, I decided I should work on my strengths and focus on the things I enjoy the most and made the decision to go back into full time education. I went to university studying Health and Fitness Management as a Foundation Degree then BScSports Performance and Coaching, gaining a First classBSc Honours Degree. After finishing my degree, I followed on to complete my Personal Training CYQ Level 3 Certificate and VTCT Level 3 and 4 in Sports Massage Therapies.
And here I am now…
An extremely driven and motivational Personal Trainer& Sports Therapist, doing what I have always loved. I strongly believe that anyone can make positive changes to their lives with the correct exercise, nutrition and guidance. Each day I get the privilege of meeting and helping some fantastic people and I wouldn’t change what I do for the world.

I practice in Helston’s Kernow Pain Clinic where I provide Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapies treating sporting and non-sporting injuries. Techniques used include deep tissue massage, stretching techniques, soft tissue release, trigger point therapy andmyofascial release. To get you back on track to full fitness I will also provide you with rehabilitative exercises for you to work on, enabling you to strengthen and stretch in your own time.
